Polycarbonate windows are designed for applications demanding high performance properties. This versatile thermoplastic maintains its properties over a wide range of temperatures, from –40 °F to 240 °F and up to 275 °F for short term application, the melting point being at 310 °F. The UL flammabilty rating is V-2. It is dimensionally stable, has extreme impact strength, non-glare finish, excellent weathering resistance and high clarity. The Polycarbonate grades used by North Safety Products are UV stabilized and flame retardant. It is optically clear, providing very high luminous transmittance and very low haze factor.
